Widget Instructions

Facebook Widget:

  1. Add a customizable Facebook widget through Appearance >> Widgets
  2. Choose “Facebook Page Like and Feeds” Widget
  3. Update the Facebook Page URL & Options
  4. Click Save button.

Twitter Widget:

  1. Add a customizable Twitter widget through Appearance >> Widgets
  2. Choose “Twitter Tweets With Follow Button” Widget
  3. Update the Twitter Username & Options
  4. Click Save button.

To use a shortcode in a page/theme template, simply wrap the standard WordPress do_shortcode() function. eg.

Below are the more details about the shortcode parameters:

Shortcode Parameters for Facebook:

  1. href – Any Fan Page URL (not your personal page!)
  2. tabs – timeline, events, messages
  3. width – number (minimum 180, maximum 500)
  4. height – number (min 70)
  5. hide_cover – true or false
  6. show_facepile – true or false
  7. small_header – true or false

Shortcode Parameters for Twitter:

  1. user_name – Any Twitter Username (eg. TwitterDev)
  2. min_width – number
  3. height – number
  4. data_dnt – true or false
  5. data_link_color – eg. #365899

Follow Button Cutomization:

  1. follow_button – true or false
  2. data_show_count – true or false
  3. data_show_screen_name – true or false
  4. data_size – large or ”
